Exams: Complete
I took my last exam today (the subject was Databases—it went fine). And it's not just "last exam this quarter" or even this year. It was my last exam. Ever. That's it. School is practically over now, save for a few things. Holy crap, this is scary.
To be honest, I'm not sure what to feel about it. I've been a full-time student all my life. It seems that when that's basically what your life is, you're always defining what you do as whatever's necessary to pass that next exam looming in a month or so. What are you going to do when there are no more exams to pass?
For me, I guess the answer is to finish up my thesis. There are only a few things left to do, of varying grades of difficulty. But I tell you, it feels a lot easier than it did a few weeks ago when I was juggling that and taking two full-time courses. The presentation is march 27th, and after that the path to official graduation should be short. But after that?
Holy damn, I have no idea.
I guess ultimately, life goes on as usual. It's just going to go on in a slightly different manner. True, there probably are some pretty big changes coming up for me, personally, such as the prospect of possibly moving to another city. But that's still some time away, and until then, life goes on. Me, I'm going to bake a cake. That's always good.

Given that I'm in for another four years of school at minimum, I have to admit that I am a little envious - but at the same time, perhaps I am happy to still be in my little academic bubble.
Either way: hurray for cake!
Yeeeey! I know exactly how you feel :) But it will all work out. I miss you and I really hope you move closer to me soon!
I am envious of you...
